Surface Relations
This series of sculptures began in 1980 by using both the wall and the floor as support surfaces. The pieces evolved to further incorporate the surrounding architectural space, seeking to engage with a viewer’s likely movement over time and through space. The series continued into the 1990s in free-standing pieces that utilized planar surfaces within a given sculpture that functioned as wall or floor. READ MORE
